NEW BEGINNINGS...
NEW BEGINNINGS....
every end, there is another beginning - Ochoche TheGreat
To every new beginning, there is a destination, sometimes the end of the lovely beginning is a solemn or drifty drive into oblivion. Man is a restless being, created to create and recreate and continue in the same cycle until the Alpha and Omega sets the stage for a new beginning in another direction. Man always need work. Unemployment ravages Africa.
We have always been told of a future. At first, it was an imagined destination in the minds of our forebearers but a time came, it became an onus upon us to forge a path for ourselves as the old path seems stale and uncertain. A new beginning has evolved but there is an imminent need to strengthen our faith in this new beginning, for the beauty of the end of any beginning is determined by the strength of faith in that direction. Africans are faith-strong in any direction they choose to establish their humanity.
Unemployment is a myth. Yes! I said it. Everbody can be employed according to capacity just that some have accepted, and/or chosen to live unproductive lives or better yet....A life of nothingness. They deploy their time in nothingness rather than in learning a skill.
What we have amongst productively engaged people is underemployment and/or unprofitable employment. The old system is dead! The symptom is coined into many words chiefly 'Unemployment'.
I see new beginnings. I see a population of individually exhausted individuals synergizing to do great things (Innovations). I see young writers riding on the wings of experienced ones. I see writers being celebrated for their works. I see profitability in the new direction.
There is no known beginning without an end. Even if you want to argue from the story of the creation from the holy book. It was an end to an era and a new beginning in a new era with Man in the equation. Therefore, for a people to succeed, whether it is a family or country, it must understand the time; a time to be firm and rigid or a time to be dynamic. One truth I say Everytime I hit a podium to speak is, for anything extraordinary to happen, there must be a coming together (Unity of purpose/Agreement). Everyone has what is extraordinary to them. Drawing my point from the highest Order will prove beneficial; from the story of creation in the holy book (Bible), creating every other thing was not necessarily extraordinary for the Most High. But when he wanted to create beings that will be like him, he said "....Let 'us' make man in our image and likeness..."
The above example is a testament to the truth that unity is strong even in diversity. We need a form of unity that recognises differences but finds or creates common grounds and magnifies it.
Young Africans as well as the old must learn the new rules in order to thrive in the new direction. It is the era of new Kings and Queens...a new beginning where more young people will inspire followership and consequently trump the old political order; where order will be restored to the scheme of things - love, respect and trust is engendered. For it is true that no relationship can thrive without trust - even the relationship with the chair you seat on: if you didn't trust it's capacity to hold you, you wouldn't sit comfortably.
We must build trust. We must be loyal. We must be true to one another. We must work to create a win-win relationship with one another whether we are a family, country or continent.
A wise man once said that no man can do more than he knows (exceptions exists). But it is safer to choose to learn, and then practice the knowledge. I tell people every time that knowledge is not power except it is applied.
Africa is on the rise but are Africans ready for it? Are they being persuaded into new forms of slavery for lack of knowledge/details? Are Africans investing in the continent enough? These questions are for our meditation and consequent answers but if our young ones allow themselves or are allowed to wallow in the vainness of social media and other forms of nothingness then slavery remains a viable business for both citizens and foreigners. This is why I urge every concerned citizen of the world to join hands with others in ensuring that Africa does not slip into a new beginning of slavery but continues on the rise to greatness.
I wake up every morning with a thankful heart, knowing that this day is another beginning to make the world a better place. Everyday people are given a new beginning to start something worthwhile or continue in the direction there have started towards a beautiful end. There are many new beginnings in everyone's life; so it is with ends. No matter what you do, know that there is an ultimate end with an everlasting new beginning. Make the time of your life useful to yourself and to the world. Be courageously Peaceful and wise.
